This spell is analogous to the Strength spell, granting additional dexterity to the recipient. The amount gained is based upon the class of the recipient. The material component is the claw of an alley cat.

This spell is similar to Acid Blade, except the affected weapon bursts into flames when swung. This limits the weapon type to cleaving weapons, i.e. broadswords, bastard swords, great swords, axes, and some pole arms. Extra damage equal to the weapon's normal damage is caused. Note that wounds caused by a weapon under the effect of the spell cannot be healed by regeneration. The material component is a bit of ash.

This spell causes a lance to spring forth from the caster's fingertips and attack any one opponent. It attacks as a monster of hit dice equal to the caster's level. After casting the magic user can perform other actions but must remain within the range. Damage is 1d6 points to any opponents and the lance is immune to physical attacks, but can be destroyed by a Dispel Magic or Disintegrate spell.

A shell in inaudibility is created around the recipient by this spell. Sounds created by the recipient are dampened, but not silenced. Walking across dead leaves is virtually silent, running across the same leaves would create only a little noise. To make himself heard the recipient has to shout, but what he hears is normal. The material component is a bit of cat fur and a small piece of parchment.

This spell is similar to the 2nd level Invisibility spell. However, the spell affects objects, not live creatures. One object of up to 100gp weight per level can be affected. There are differences in the ways it can be dispelled. The caster may dispel it at will and a successful Dispel Magic will do the same. The magic is also dispelled if the item is one that can be used for attack and is used for that purpose. The material component is an eyelash embedded in a bit of gum Arabic.

This spell causes the caster's fingernails to grow to a length of 5 inches and become as hard as steel. The caster can then attack as a gree-kin, i.e. 2 clawing attacks per round. If a hit is scored then roll for 1-5 claws, each claw causing 1d4 points of damage. The material component is a bit of gree-kin ash.

This is an improved version of the 1st level Fangs spell, with all particulars the same, except that the bite is now poisonous. After a successful bite the victim must save vs. Poison or fall asleep for 1d4 turns. If the save is successful, the victim is slowed for 1d4 rounds. The material components are a snake fang and a drop of poison.
