This page lists all 4th level Magic User spells that could be used in my campaigns. Most are from the 1st Edition AD&D Players Handbook or Unearthed Arcana, some are from Dragon Magazine, and the remainder were created by players in my or my brother Kevin's campaigns.

By means of this spell the caster creates a light source similar to the Continual Light spell. The light emanates from a point in the air, and may move about, controlled by the caster's commands. Also, the brightness may be varied, from the full brightness of Continual Light to a simple glowing mote. The light may be controlled up to 10'/level of the caster, and may move at 120'/round. If the light passes beyond the range it will extinguish, and may be extinguished at any time. Note that this may be dispelled by any means that a normal Continual Light may be extinguished.

This spell causes a stream of water to blast forth from the caster's hands with incredible force. This will douse all normal sized fires, and may douse huge fires. Magical fires may be doused, having the same chance as a Dispel Magic of succeeding. If a creature is struck it will suffer 1d4 points of damage/level of the caster. A successful saving throw indicates a miss, but the stream will travel the full distance and may strike a creature behind the target. The material component is a drop of water and a glass rod.

This spell allows the caster to cause a creature or object to become weightless. This may make treasure items easier to remove or it may cause an opponent to become helpless. Creature with an intelligence of 13 or greater must roll less than or equal to twice their intelligence on percentile dice. Success indicates that they will learn to deal with their weightless condition within 2d20 rounds, otherwise they will be helpless. Creatures capable of flight, regardless of intelligence, have a percentage chance equal to their intelligence +20 of controlling their flight in the same period of time. The material component is a loop of gold wire and a feather.
